As one of the best-known American brands, OPI polishes are loved for their rich, long-lasting colors.
The Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer by Butter London is a must-try, simply for its skincare-inspired nail polish formula that delivers a gel-like cushion and glossy shine to promote brighter, stronger, healthier-looking nails.

Painting yours and your friends' nails with OPI nail polish can be an excellent way to treat yourself to a manicure. Affordable OPI nail polishes are available on eBay in a variety of colors, finishes, and textures, so it is easy to find a nail polish that matches your personality and style, or stock your salon with a full range of polishes.
Color selection is mostly a matter of preference. Pinks, browns, beiges, and whites have a subtle appearance, but OPI nail polish also has bright colors, neon hues, and dark colors. Keep in mind that the color in the bottle is accurate for some shades, but certain colors can dry to a slightly darker shade than the liquid version. The brand is known for using quirky names for each of their colors, so it is easy to look up any shade and see how it appears when applied.
When you are looking to purchase OPI polish, you will discover that it does more than just create colors with a smooth, glossy finish. They also have some nail polishes with special effects. The shatter nail polish dries to have a crackle effect while the matte OPI nail polish for sale has a flat, shine-free surface. Metallics are available in both smooth, metal-like finishes and softer, glimmering finishes. If you love sparkle, the brand also has shimmer and glitter nail polish. The glitter nail polish finishes have slightly larger pieces with more noticeable reflections.
"If unopened, nail polish can last for several years, especially if kept in a cool, dark place," explains Saunders. That being said, nail polish gets goopy the more you use it. When oxygen penetrates the product, it makes it thicker, she points out. If that's the case, and it's becoming hard to apply, toss it.
Using a base coat and top coat can help extend your nail polish and make it more resistant to chipping and fading. Many top coats not only add shine but help prevent color fading by adding a physical layer over your polish.
Their passion for "offering an affordable luxury" to their customers has allowed OPI to create some of the best nail and gel polishes on the market. High-quality, chip-resistant and with a rich pigment, these shades have found their way into the heart of their customers.
When I saw OPI's founder, Suzy Weiss-Fischmann, at a press event earlier this week, she said it was finally time. "So many people want to buy nail polish online now," she said. "I tried to stay true to our salon roots, but it's time to move with the times." If that means we can now buy our favorite OPI colors from the comfort of our beds, we're all for it!
Nail Harmony Gelish Gel Polish is one popular brand of gel polish with great quality and color collections. Harmony Gelish works like nail polish but performs like gel. Gelish Gel manicure uses Gelish Foundation Base Gel, Gelish Colors and Gelish Top It Off Gel. Applied and cured with UV lamp or LED light, Gelish gel polish comprises a breakthrough in resilient color that remains flawless for 21-days and easily removes in 10-15 minutes.
Although famous as a nail polish today, originally OPI began as a dental company! And it was called Odontorium Products, Inc. The company was purchased in 1981 by George Schaeffer, who refocused its direction to nail polish industry and abbreviated the name to OPI.
OPI polishes are free of harmful ingredients, while the large brush allows for clean, crisp application. OPI nail polish is just as long lasting as other brands, but the extensive colour range and cult-like following of devotees makes it stand out amongst the rest.
Vegan, cruelty-free and actually affordable, Disguise Cosmetics' nail polishes make your nails look healthy and shiny with just two coats. Pastels to darker tones, they have a bunch of different colours but if you're someone who likes pink (and its many variants), check out their range.
Spekta Cosmetics has gone the extra mile to make makeup and beauty products that suit and work for Indian skin. Their gel nail polish is also vegan and cruelty-free and leaves a super glossy finish. They're also favourites of nail art lovers, if you've seen their Instagram, and the amount of incredible designs people recreate using their nail paints.
Another vegan and cruelty-free brand with only nail paints as their product (so you know they put in a lot of thought into them), Moraze has a wide range of vegan and cruelty-free nail polishes in every colour of the rainbow. An orange isn't just orange here, it's peach, bright orange and tangerine and that goes for pink, blue and nudes, too.

Hello, I am having a super boring night in bed (had some minor things done at the doctors today so have taken a lazy day and been in bed since late afternoon feeling sorry for myself). Anyway, I decided not to waste the whole night and to write about where to buy cheap nail polish in UK instead (as I was browsing for some good deals anyway lol).
Poundland All polishes priced at 1. Usually sell brands such as Jess (see my review here), Sinful Colours, Sally Hansen, Pretty (see my review here), Allura, Revlon, Rimmel, OPI Crackle, NYC, Astor etc. They also sell false nails, polish remover and some nail art stuff.
Xtras Is good for shopping in store and online. I have noticed that some polishes cost more online than in store which is odd. Prices start from 0.99 in store but 1.99 online (brands such as Sally Hansen, Barry M, Rimmel, Essie, Hard Candy etc.). They also sell OPI and NOPI with the price starting from 4.49.
Boots Is good as it carries a huge variety of polish brands, some being as cheap as 1.99 per bottle. Best time to shop in Boots is however when they have the 3 for 2 deal on ;) Boots also does Advantage Card that you can use to collect points and more points means more money to spend on nail polish!
There are way more shops online but these are the ones I have purchased from myself and therefore trust and happily recommend to others. I will update this post when I find (or remember the ones I forgot to add!) more places to buy bargain polishes from.
Hi, and welcome to my nail blog! Here you can enjoy lots of nail polish swatches, occasional nail art looks and a rare tutorial here and there. I love discovering popular high street brands, unique indie polishes and dusty vintage polishes.
"Essie is known for their wide array of traditional nail polish colors, creating many prized and coveted shades for every season," says Grace Wu, Textiles Product Reviews Analyst at Good Housekeeping, who is a big fan of the line. "Its Gel Couture line is fail-proof, with an ergonomically shaped bottle and simple, manageable brush for easy application." Reviewers agree that the polish look and feels professional: "It looks exactly like a professional gel manicure!"
For salon-like gel, GH's beauty editor likes Shellac because, she says, "it's the easiest to remove without damaging your nails." A salon favorite and cult classic, this lamp-cured polish has zero dry time, lasts up to two weeks and leaves nails glossy and even.
"When doing nail art, skinny brushes make all the difference," says Emma Seymour, Senior Textiles Analyst at Good Housekeeping. "But cleaning brushes between shades is way tougher with gel polish. These gel liners from Beetles have thin brushes that make it easy to do nail art with very pigmented polish. For gel polish, the price can't be beat!"
This Dior polish may be a bit more expensive than most, but the shade range and wearability are worth it. "I love Dior polishes," raves one Nordstrom reviewer. "They glide on easily, last a long time and the brush makes doing my own nails quite easy. Also, the quality products have actually improved the texture and strength of my nails."
This polish lasts as long as an in-salon gel manicure, but it comes off just as easily as normal nail polish. It doesn't require a light to cure and also has a built-in base coat, which helps the color lock onto your nails and erases additional steps. "My polish lasted almost two weeks without chipping and then it just started to wear out," says one Walmart reviewer. "No more shellac polish for me with the soaking time and damage to my nails." 041b061a72
